The CBSE Class 10 Board Examination will commence from the month of February, this year. Many students would be panicking thinking about how to effectively tackle the vast syllabus. Please remember that a non-systematic and irregular study pattern is only going to make things worse. With this in mind, we have provided a few tips to help you study effectively for the exams.
- Read NCERT Books – Give top priority to the NCERT books as most of the exam questions that appear in the CBSE Class 10 exam are directly picked from the textbook. Hence, make sure to read the NCERT Class 10 books thoroughly to better understand the concepts of each and every subject.
- Refer a Refresher – After you go through the NCERT textbooks, make sure to refer refreshers by authors like RD Sharma, RS Aggarwal etc. in order to get a wider view of the questions that will be asked in the paper. Moreover, solving problems helps you understand topics better.
- Review Repeatedly – The brain retains information in the long-term memory when studied repeatedly. And the ones who cram the day before the exam forget the information because the information is stored in the short-term memory.
- Take Breaks Often – It is important to give the brain some time to absorb new information. Hence, study for 30 minutes without any distraction and take a break of 10 minutes.
